Introduction
 

A standalone smoke detector is a self-contained fire detection device that is not connected to a centralized fire alarm system. Some key characteristics of standalone smoke detectors:

Purpose:
The primary purpose of a standalone smoke detector is to provide early warning of a fire by detecting smoke buildup in a specific area.
It is designed to function independently without being tied into a larger fire alarm system.

Power Supply:
Standalone smoke detectors are typically powered by battery,DC3V.

Alarm Notification:
When smoke is detected, the standalone smoke detector will sound its own internal audible alarm to alert occupants in the immediate vicinity.

The alarm also trigger visual indicators, such as flashing lights, on the detector itself.

Installation:
Standalone smoke detectors are typically installed in individual rooms, hallways, or other specific areas within a building.
They do not require integration with a centralized fire alarm system and can be installed independently.

Applications:
Standalone smoke detectors are commonly used in residential settings, such as homes and apartments, where a centralized fire alarm system may not be present.
They can also be used in small commercial or industrial spaces that do not warrant a full-fledged fire alarm system.

Installation

1. Fix the detector chasis on the ceiling with screw.
2. Open the detectors upper case, assemble the battery and fix the detector on the chasis.
2. Press test button to perform self-test to make sure it work well.
3. Smoke detector inspection: perform usual inspection to make sure it work well. normally,  
the indicator light will blink every 2 seconds. When the smoke density exceed the standard, it  will send out firm alarm.
4. Battery inspection: if the battery voltage is too low, it will sound lightly every 1 minute till
  the battery run out of energy.
